Personal trail running coach Falko Burghausen

Falko Burghausen is a trail running instructor (esa trail running and mountain running instructor and esa trail running instructor T3, certified by Swiss Athletics) and has been involved in polysports since childhood. Whether in mountain sports, (trail) running, winter sports or cycling - exercise in the great outdoors has accompanied him throughout his life. His passion for passing on knowledge and experience runs like a common thread through his career.

As a trail running coach, he has already helped numerous runners of all abilities to achieve their personal goals - whether it's getting started in the sport of trail running, preparing for a race or collecting new altitude meter adventures.

Rates

Daily rates

1 person: CHF 550
2 to 4 persons: CHF 650

The daily rate can be adjusted depending on the duration of the engagement, the length of the run, the difficulty or the conditions.

Daily rate for groups of more than 4 people on request.

Expenses and any rental equipment will be charged additionally. Additional expenses such as mountain railroads, public transportation etc. are not included in the price.

Hourly rates

Individual coaching: CHF 120 per hour.
2 persons: CHF 80 per person and per hour.
3 persons: CHF 60 per person and per hour.
From 4 to a maximum of 8 people: flat rate of CHF 230 per hour.

Long-term engagements

The price for a longer-term collaboration depends on the goals and scope. We will be happy to provide you with an individual quote for your personal running coaching.

The coaching is ideal for all performance levels - from trail running beginners to runners who are aiming for longer distances or altitude meters for the first time (e.g. 10 km, half/marathon, alpine trails) to ambitious athletes with specific racing goals.

The program covers fitness analysis, strength, coordination, speed and endurance training, supplemented by specific technique training for trails, downhills (with/without poles), alpine terrain and individual altitude adaptation from 2000 m.

Yes - there are individually guided trail runs in the Alps, from one-day runs to multi-day tours in the Swiss Alps and Scandinavia. You can send us inquiries via the contact form.

Your coach is Falko Burghausen, a certified esa trail running instructor (T3) from Swiss Athletics. With years of intensive experience in trail running and alpine terrain, he knows exactly what is important and has the necessary know-how to prepare you optimally for your personal challenge.

Yes - in addition to personal one-to-one coaching, online support with check-ins and feedback over longer training periods is also possible.

Yes - you will receive training plans that are optimized in relation to your goals (e.g. first trail run experience, marathon with elevation gain) and always developed according to the latest training standards.
