The artwork story

Like a quiet poem, the Engadin opens up beneath a veil of clouds and snow. The mountains in the background rest in silent dignity, their contours softened by the first breath of winter, as if they had wrapped themselves in a white cloak to celebrate the changing of the seasons.

In front of them rises the forest – a mosaic of larch and dark fir trees glowing with warm splashes of color. The golden crowns of the larch trees burn like little suns in the soft twilight, defying the snow and giving the landscape a radiance that transcends the cold. Between them stand the dark conifers like guardians of an ancient empire, silent and dignified, while winter quietly makes its entrance.

A fine mist rises between the trunks, as if the forest itself were breathing, releasing its secrets into the frosty air. Above it all lies a mood that stretches the moment, pauses time for an instant, and transports the viewer into a world where silence and color dance together.

Here, where autumn sings its last notes and winter is already entering the stage, nature reveals itself in its delicate yet overwhelming splendor.
