The snowshoe tour in Val d'Anniviers is technically easy and does not require any special experience. We will walk at a leisurely pace suited to the group, climbing around 200–250 meters in altitude.

We meet in the mountain village of St. Luc, in the heart of the sunny Val d'Anniviers. The funicular railway takes us effortlessly up the mountain, leaving everyday life quickly behind us. After a short time, we are already at an altitude of over 2,000 meters and strap on our snowshoes. Above the tree line, a vast winter landscape opens up with gentle slopes, clear mountain air, and a panorama that invites you to pause and reflect. During our hike, we enjoy the views over the Val d'Anniviers and immerse ourselves in this wonderful alpine winter world.

St. Luc is located in a sunny spot above the Val d'Anniviers and delights visitors in winter with its clear air, sweeping views, and tranquility. Away from the hustle and bustle, an authentic mountain world unfolds here—perfect for enjoyable snowshoe tours in beautiful natural surroundings.

The meeting point is the valley station of the funicular railway in St. Luc. You can easily reach the starting point by public transport or by car from Sierre in around 30 minutes. Signposted parking spaces are available at the valley station.

After booking, you will receive a detailed packing list from us so that you can travel safely and well prepared.

You must always carry safety equipment in your backpack:

  • Avalanche transceiver (avalanche search device)
  • Shovel
  • Probe
  • Snowshoes
  • Trekking poles

If you do not have this equipment yourself, you can rent it from us.
